After playing for Narbonne Hign School, Ify Ibekwe was a college superstar playing for Arizona and she averaged 15.7 points and 11.6 rebounds per game in the 2008/09 season, 14 points and 11.4 rebounds per game in the 2009/10 season and finally 16.1 points and 9.8 rebounds per game in the 2010/11 season prior to being selected with the 24th pick in the 2011 WNBA Draft by the Seattle Storm.
Ify Ibekwe started her professional career in the 2011/12 season and she signed in Belgium with Dexia Namur and averaged 13.6 points and 6.7 rebounds in 20 minutes per game in League and 21.5 points, 9.7 rebounds and +24 efficiency in 27 minutes per game in Eurocup.
In Feburary 2012, Ify Ibekwe signed in Spain with Burgos and she averaged 10.2 points and 4.3 rebounds in 17 miutes per game.
In December 2012, Ify Ibekwe signed with Hainaut and she was an impact player in French League, averaging 16.3 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.
Ify Ibekwe started the 2013/14 season in Spain and she averaged 12.5 points, 9.1 rebounds and +16 efficiency per game with Ibaizabal before being bought out by KEB Hanabank and finishing the season in South Korea.
In the 2014/15 season, Ify Ibekwe signed in Spain with Uni Girona and she was the League MVP after averaging 16.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.4 steals and +23.8 efficiency per game, leading her team to become Spanish League Champions after defeating Perfumerías Avenida in the Finals with Ify producing 17 points and 12 rebounds in game 1 and 22 points and 10 rebounds in game 2.
In the 2015/16 season, Ify Ibekwe signed with SEQ in Australia and she averaged 14.1 points and 8.8 rebounds in 26 minutes per game. In March 2016, Ify moved back to Uni Girona and she averaged 18.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and +21.3 efficiency in the Regular Season and 23.5 points, 9 rebounds and +23 efficiency in the Playoffs, reaching the Spanish League Finals.
Ify Ibekwe re-signed with Uni Girona in the 2016/17 season and she averaged 15.6 points and 7.9 rebounds in 28 minutes per game in Spanish League and 17.5 points and 11 rebounds per game in the Queen´s Cup, reaching the Final in both competitions.
Ify Ibekwe also played the Eurocup with Uni Girona and she was one of the best players in the competition with 16.4 points and 9.3 rebounds in 26 minutes per game.
