Fabián Téllez has won the U18 Spanish Championship with F.C.Barcelona after destroying Real Madrid in the final (102-63).

Barcelona, who was not the favourite to win the game, had an amazing game and completely dominated the eternal rival, having impressive 149 to 44 difference in evaluation.

With this success, Fabián Téllez finishes his season in F.C.Barcelona and apart from becoming U18 Spanish Champion he has also been U18 Catalan Champion and Adidas Euroleague Next Generation Finalist.

Fabián Téllez is a Spanish coach who has wide experience and success in men and in women basketball.

In his early years as coach, Fabián Téllez coaches C.B.Coll (1991-93), U.E.Gaudí (1995-2002), AECS Hospitalet (2001-02), Collblanc (2002-03), U.B.Barça (2003-05) and again U.E.Gaudí (2006-08).

In the 2007/08 season, Fabián Téllez won with Sarrià the Silver Medal in the U18 Catalan Championship and in the U18 Spanish Championship, being named by the Spanish Federation as the Best Coach in the U18 Spanish Championship.

In the 2008/09 season, Fabián Téllez was again U18 Catalan Championship Finalist and achieved the 5th position in the U18 Spanish Championship.

In the 2009/10 season, Fabián Téllez became the head coach of Almeda´s senior women team and playing the Catalan Cup he managed to promote to Spanish Liga Femenina 2, competition in which he coached the team in the 2010/11 season, having a good season despite having a very young team.

Fabián Téllez coached Sarria´s U14 team in the 2011/12 season and in the 2012/13 season he won the U16 Catalan Championship and was fifth in the U16 Spanish Championship coaching Femení Sant Adrià.

In the 2014/15 season, Fabián Téllez coached Grup Barna´s Senior Men Team and he qualified to play the promotion to Liga EBA, being named by the Catalan Federation as the Best Coach in Copa Cataluña.

Fabián stayed in the same team during the 2015/16 season and again qualified for the promotion to LIGA EBA, competition that he played during the 2016/17 season.

Fabián Téllez returned to Femení Sant Adrià in the 2017/18 season and had his coaching debut in Spanish top women division, qualifying his team for the Spanish Queen´s Cup.

In may 2018, Fabián Téllez was appointed head coach of the Catalan Team.

In the 2018/19 season, Fabián Téllez signed with Mann Filter Zaragoza, qualifying the team for Spanish League Playoffs and reaching the 8th position.

In July 2019, Fabián Téllez was the head coach of Spanish National Team and won the Bronze Medal in the U19 World Championship.

Fabián Téllez stayed in Mann Filter Zaragoza during the 2019/20 season.

In the 2020/21 season, Fabián Téllez moved to F.C.Barcelona and was the head coach of the U18 men team, becoming U18 Catalan Champion and reaching the Adidas Euroleague Next Generation Final and winning the U18 Spanish Championship after defeating Real Madrid in the final (102-63)
