Laia Flores played for U.E.Mataró until 2013 and already in 2008 she won the U12 Spanish Championship with the Catalan Regional Team.

In the 2008/09 season, Laia Flores was U14 Catalan Champion and U14 Spanish Finalist with U.E.Mataró.

In the 2009/10 season, Laia Flores won the Bronze Medalist in the U14 Catalan Championship and Silver Medalist in the U14 Spanish Championship. In addition, she also became U14 Spanish Champion with Cataluña.

In the 2010 summer, Laia Flores played with the U14 Spanish National Team and she was BAM Finalist.

In the 2010/11 season, Laia Flores was U16 Catalan Champion and U16 Spanish Finalist with U.E.Mataró. In addition, Laia was also U16 Spanish Finalist with Cataluña and Friendship Tournament Champion with the Spanish National Team.

In the 2011/12 season, Laia Flores finished in 4th position in the U16 Spanish Championship with U.E.Mataró and won the Bronze Medal with Cataluña in the U16 Spanish Championship.

With the Spanish Youth National Teams, Laia Flores won the Gold Medal in the U16 European Championship in 2012 and she averaged 9 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.9 steals per game, being tournament leader in steals and fifth in assists. Also, Laia had a great game in the Final against Italy with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and +26 efficiency (MVP).

In the 2012/13 season, Laia Flores won the U18 Catalan Championship and was U18 Spanish Finalist with U.E.Mataró.

In the 2013 summer, Laia Flores won the Gold Medal in the U18 European Championship and she averaged 4 points, 2 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 12 minutes per game.

Laia Flores joined Femení Sant Adrià in the 2013/14 season and she won the U18 Catalan Championship and the U18 Spanish Championship. In addition, Laia Flores played the Copa Catanya with the senior team and she promoted to Spanish Liga Femenina 2.

Laia Flores played again the U18 European Championship in 2014 and she was one of the best players in the competition, averaging 13.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 2.3 assists in 27 minutes per game and becoming Bronze Medalist.

In September 2014, Laia Flores moved to the United States and joined South Florida University.

In the 2015 summer, Laia Flores won the Gold Medal in the U20 European Championship and she averaged 6.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 20 minutes per game, shining against France in the Final with 11 points.

In addition, Laia Flores played also the U19 World Championship and reached the Semifinals, averaging 6.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.

In the 2016 summer, Laia Flores won again the Gold Medal in the U20 European Championship and she averaged 10 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.7 steals in 23 minutes per game, with excellent 53% from the 3 points line and drawing the foul and scoring the two free throws that gave to Spain the Gold Medal.

Laia Flores also has had success with the 3x3 Spanish National Team, winning the Bronze Medals in the World Championship played in Indonesia and in the Youth Olympic Games played in China.

With the “Bulls”, Laia averaged 8.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game in the 2016/17 season and 8 points, 4.7 rebounds and 6.4 assists in the 2017/18 season.

Laia Flores reached the AAC Conference Final in the 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons (losing against UCONN) and set a new college record for most assists in a single season and also for most assists in a single game with 17 against Florida International University. Those 17 assists were also the highest for any NCAA D1 player in the 2016/17 season.

In the 2018/19 season, Laia Flores signed in Spain with Mann Filter Zaragoza and she averaged 4.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists, taking her team to Spanish League Playoffs.

In the 2019/20 season, Laia signed in Italy with Palermo and she averaged 7.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and +12.1 efficiency in 28 minutes per game.
