MIREIA VILA has signed in Spain with Boet Mataró

Mireia Vila played for Vilassar de Mar and for U.E.Mataró until the 2001/02 season in which she win the Spanish Championship with the Catalan Team.

After suffering an ACL in the 2002/03 season, Mireia Vila recovered and played again a Spanish Championship with the Catalan team in the 2006/07 season, averaging 9 points 6.5 rebounds and +9.8 efficiency in 20 minutes per game and finishing in 3rd position.

Playing for U.E.Mataró, Mireia Vila played the U16 Spanish Championship and she averaged 9.8 points, 11.4 rebounds and +16.6 efficiency per game, qualifying in 4th position.

In the 2007/08 season, Mireia Vila was selected in the U18 Catalan Championship First Team and in the 2008/09 season she won the Catalana Championship and was Spanish Championship Finalist, averaging excellent 16 points, 5 rebounds and +14.8 efficiency per game.

Mireia Vila played college during the next 4 years and with St. Joseph´s she won the Atlantic 10 Tournament in 2013.

In the 2010 summer, Mireia Vila won the Silver Medal in the U20 European Championship and averaged 3.3 points and 2 rebounds in 13 minutes per game.

Mireia Vila won the Gold Medal with the Spanish National Team in the U20 European Championship 2011 and she was an important player, averaging 7.1 points and 2.9 rebounds in 19 minutes per game for coach Lucas Mondelo and shining against Latvia with 21 points.

In the 2013/14 season, Mireia Vila returned to Spain and she signed in Liga Femenina 2 with Uni Ferrol, averaging 10.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and +10.7 efficiency per game in the regular season (20 wins 2 losses) and 11 points 6 rebounds +10.6 efficiency per game in the playoffs.

Mireia Vila re-signed with Uni Ferrol during the 2014/15 season and in Liga Femenina she averaged 7 points and 2.8 rebounds in 25 minutes per game, shining against Mann Filter (20 points +23 efficiency) and Gernika (17 points +18 efficiency).

Mireia played the first half of the 2015/16 season with Sedis Cadí and in January 2016 she moved to Femení Sant Adrià and averaged 8.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and +9 efficiency in 26 minutes per game, reaching the Liga Femenina 2 Semifinals. Mireia had very good shooting percentages during the season with 59% from the field and 45% three pointers.

In the 2016/17 season, Mireia Vila re-signed in Sant Adrià and had a great season, moving the team to Liga Femenina and averaging 9.6 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.

Mireia Vila signed with Femení Sant Adrià for the 2017/18 season and she averaged 8.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in 22 minutes per game, qualifying for the Spanish Queen´s Cup and shining against Zamarat (25 points in 23 minutes), IDK Gipuzkoa (17 points in 22 minutes) and Araski (14 points in 20 minutes).

In the 2018/19 season, Mireia Vila continued in Femení Sant Adrià and she averaged 1.9 points and 2 rebounds in 13 minutes per game.

In the 2019/20 season, Mireia vila re-signed with Sant Adrià and averaged 7.1 points and 3.4 rebounds in 24 minutes per game.

In December 2019, Mireia Vila moved to Boet Mataró.
