Chatilla Van Grinsven played the first part of her college career for Colorado State and she averaged 12 points and 6.1 rebounds per game in the 2009/10 season and 10.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game in the 2010/11 season.

In the 2011 summer, Chatilla Van Grinsven was an impact player with Netherlands in the U20 European Championship and she averaged 12.6 points and 11.6 rebounds per game.

Later on, Chatilla played her senior year for Saint Joseph´s and she was one of the best players in her class with 14.9 points and 10.4 rebounds per game which helped her to have a WNBA experience with the Connecticut Sun.

In the 2013/14 season, Chatilla Van Grinsven began her professional career playing for Bourges and she averaged 4.4 points and 3.1 rebounds in 11 minutes per game, becoming French Cup Champion, reaching the Euroleague Final Four and also the French League Finals.

In the 2014/15 season, Chatilla signed in Turkey with Orman and she averaged 10.1 points and 5.6 rebounds in 21 minutes per game.

Chatilla Van Grinsven returned to France for the 2015/16 season and playing for Arras she averaged 12.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.

In the 2016/17 season, Chatilla returned to Turkey and she averaged 9.7 points and 6.9 rebounds per game with Osmaniye.

After starting the 2017/18 season with Galatasaray, Chatilla Van Grinsven signed in Italy with Broni and she averaged 13.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.

In the 2018/19 season, Chatilla signed in Spain with Ferrol and she averaged 11.6 points and 8.2 rebounds per game, being the fourth best rebounder in the competition and getting the Spanish League historical record for more defensive rebounds in a single game (18).
