American point guard Valencia McFarland has
signed with RegeneracomSports, choosing us as her agency for the coming
Valencia McFarland is a 1.63m international
American point guard born in 1991 and with NCAA experience with Mississippi,
averaging 16.3 points, 7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in her senior year
(2013-14). Furthermore, Valencia also has experience in Europe and with the USA
Valencia McFarland's basketball career began in
Raymond High School where she had awards as the Mississippi Gatorade Player of
the Year twice and the Mississippi Miss. Basketball twice too, both in 2009 and
Valencia McFarland's NCAA experience started in
the 2010-11 season with Mississippi, where as a rookie she was the starting
point guard and shone with 13.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.5
steals per game. Valencia excelled with double figures in the last 11 games of
the season, scored more than 20 points in five times and beat the scoring
record for a freshman of her college.
In the summer of 2011 Valencia debuted with the
USA national team and played the Panamerican Games in Mexico. In that
tournament the Mississippi point guard was the third best player in steals per
In her sophomore year Valencia improved her
freshman season, where she continued being the starting point guard and
averaged 13.5 points, 4.7 assists and 2.1 steals per game. In addition to that,
the Mississippi point guard had a solid three point shot percentage with 32.8%.
Valencia had a great season having double figures in 23 of the 30 games played
and scored in six times more than 20 points.
The 2012-13 season for Valencia was
so strong as she was the MVP of her team and was called the Spire/Gillon
Trophy, that represents the best college player of the Mississippi State.
Furthermore, she had an average of 11.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.3 assists and
2.4 steals per game. The American point guard dished more than 5 assists in 18
times and shone against Florida with 24 points and 10 assists.
Valencia had a spectacular 2013-14
season, as a senior she averaged 17.2 points, 4 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.8
steals per game, adding a 41.3% in three pointers. Valencia finished her Ole
Miss career being the sixth top scorer of her university with 1.651 points and
in that season she scored more than 20 points in fifteen times, including
double figures in the last nine games of the calendar.
In the 2014-15 season Valencia
signed with CSU Alba Iulia where she averaged 8.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.5
assists and 2.2 steals per game. Also in that year she reached the CWEL Final,
the Rumanian Cup Final and the Rumanian League Semifinals. Due to her good game
Valencia played the All star of that country.
In the current season the American
point guard has signed with SBS Ostrava of the Czech first division league,
where she has had again a strong year averaging 16.3 points, 7 rebounds and 1.3
assists per game.
