Jennifer Harris is an American outside player who after a good career in NCAA was the 20th pick in 2006 WNBA Draft by Chicago Sky. Jennifer played her first two seasons in NCAA for Penn State, one of the best colleges in the country, playing alongside other stars like Tanisha Wright (No. 12 in WNBA Draft 2005) or Kelly Mazzante (No 18, 2004 WNBA Draft). After a first year with limited playing time, Jennifer increased her participation in her sophomore season, averaging 10.4 points per game in a team that finished the season unbeaten at home. Jennifer played her junior and senior years for Washburn University, where after averaging 14.4 points and 4.7 rebounds in 26 minutes in the 2004-2005 season and winning 35 of the 37 games,exploded as a senior with 24,2 points 5.8 rebounds 5.1 assists and 3 steals being named the best player of the competition. In WNBA Draft in 2006, Jennifer Harris was selected at number 20 for Chicago Sky.
Other players who have starred in the WNBA or in Europe were chosen behind her, for example Dalila Eshe (# 25), Kasha Terry (# 26), Kerri Gardin (# 34) or Zane Teilane (# 35). During the 2006-2007 season, Jennifer Harris signed for Migrosspor and played in the turkish first division. In her first European experience, Jennifer averaged 10.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
During the next season, Jennifer returns to Migrosspor and becomes one of the leading scorers in the competition with 16.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. The Swedish league was her final destination that season, playing with Solna Vikings the playoffs and becoming Swedish Champion, averaging 15 points per game despite playing point guard, not her best position. Jennifer Harris started the 2008-2009 season in Ragusa, Croatian team which also played FIBA Europe Cup. In FIBA Cup, Jennifer averaged 13.4 points and 3.8 rebounds playing against Leon, Spanish first division team and Athinaikos, Greek first division team.
