Riquna Williams has signed in Turkey with Osmaniye GSK

Riquna Williams, american combo who holds the WNBA record for most points in a single game (with 51), has signed with Turkey with Osmainye GSK until the end of the 2016-17 season.

Riquna Williams, who was WNBA All Star in 2015, played also in Turkey during last season, averaging 18.1 points per game for Adana Aski after a sensational WNBA season in which she averaged 15.1 points per game for the Tulsa Shock.

Riquna Williams's career began in Pahokee High School, where she averaged 32.5 points in her senior year.

In the 2008-09 season, playing as a freshman for the University of Miami, Riquna averaged 8.7 points per game, including 23 points against Clemson.

In the 2009-10 season and as a sophomore, Riquna Williams averaged 19.6 points per game and emerged as one of the best scorers in the country, scoring 27 or more points in eight games and being named in the All-ACC Second Team.

In the 2010-11 season, Riquna averaged 21.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game, being included in the All-ACC First Team.

In her senior year, Riquna averaged 16.6 points for Miami, ending finishing her college career with an average of 16.4 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.

Riquna Williams was selected with the 17th pick in the 2012 WNBA Draft by the San Antonio Silver Stars, being later traded to the Tulsa Shock.

In her first season in WNBA, Riquna averaged 10.5 points and 1.6 steals in 20 minutes a game, being one of the best players in steals and being included in the All-Rookie Team.

In the 2012-13 season, she played her first season in Europe with the Good Angels Kosice in Slovakia where she averaged 14.5 points and 2.2 steals per game in Euroleague.

In January of 2013 she moved to Israel and averaged 21.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game with Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion.

Back into the WNBA, playing for Tulsa Shock in 2013 she averaged 15.6 points in 21 minutes per game, beating the record in history in a WNBA game with 51 points against San Antonio.

Riquna was also named Sixth Woman of the Year.

In the 2013-14 season, Riquna Williams played in Italy for Virtus Eirene Ragusa, averaging 14.7 points and 7 rebounds per game, reaching the semifinals in the Italian Cup and being Finalist in League with a newly promoted team.

In this current season Riquna has signed with Adana Aski, team who plays the Turkish first division league and the Eurocup. With the Turkish team, Riquna again has had incredible stats with 18.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game in Regular Season and 17.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game in Eurocup.

In the Turkish league, Riquna has excelled against Besiktas with 32 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists, against Yakin Dogu with 21 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assits and +28 efficiency and against Hatay with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assits.

In Eurocup, the combo guard has stood out against Spartak with 26 points and 5 rebounds and against Piestanske with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.
