Petra Kulichova signs with Galatasaray

Czech center Petra Kulichová has signed with Galatasary for the 2015-2016 season.
In the 2014-15 season, with Besiktas, Petra Kulichova averaged 8.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and +11 efficiency, with 69% from the field in 23 minutes per game in Turkish League, finishing in sixth position. Petra also played the Eurocup, reaching the Quarter Finals and averaging 10.1 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.7 blocks and +16.5 efficiency with 63% from the field in 26 minutes per game.
Petra Kulichova is a 1.98cm center born in 1984 in Czech Republic and with an exceptional professional career that includes achievements like winning the Euroleague in 2006 with Gambrinus Brno (and also being Euroleague finalist in 2008),  winning the Gold Medal in the 2005 European Championship, winning the Silver Medal in the 2010 World Championship and playing in 3 Olympic Games.
Back in 2002, Petra won the Bronze Medal in the U18 European Championship, averaging 9.5 points 10.9 rebounds, 3.5 blocks and 2.4 steals in 26 minutes per game.
In the 2002-03 season, Petra Kulichova played the EuroCup with VCE Loko Trutnov and averaged 9.2 points 8.4 rebounds and 2.2 steals in 27 minutes per game.  Once that the season finished, she also played the U19 World Championship with Czech National Team.
During the 2003-04 season, Petra Kulichova stayed in Trutnov and averaged 8 points and 7.4 rebounds in 23 minutes per game.
Petra had a busy summer in 2004, playing both the U20 European Championship, in which she averaged 7.3 points and 8.3 rebounds in 17 minutes per game, and the Olympic Games played in Athens in which she averaged 4 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
Petra Kulichova had a breakout season in 2004-15, playing again with Trutnov and averaging 14.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 1.9 blocks per game in her debut in the Euroleague and 17.1 points and 9.7 rebounds per game in Czech League.
In the 2005 summer, Petra Kulichova won the Gold Medal in the European Championship, averaging 4.6 points and 5 rebounds in 17 minutes per game and defeating Russia in the Final, 72 to 70.
Petra Kulichova  continued with her progression and signed with Gambrinus Brno in the 2005-06 season, becoming Czech League Champion (9.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per game) and Euroleague Champion being a key contributor with 8.5 points 6.6 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 27 minutes per game.
In the 2006 summer, Petra Kulichova played the World Championship in Brazil, averaging 8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game for Czech Republic.
Petra Kulichova re-signed with Gambrinus Sika Brno during the 2006-07 season, becoming again Czech League Champion (14.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game) and reaching the Euroleague Quarterfinals, averaging  7.1 points and 5.8 rebounds in 22 minutes per game.
In the 2007 summer, Petra Kulichova played the European Championship in Italy and averaged 9.6 points and 7 rebounds per game, finishing in fifth position.
Petra Kulichova played again with Brno during the 2007-08 season, winning one more Czech League and reaching the Euroleague Final, competition in which she averaged 7.8 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.
In the 2008 summer, Petra Kulichova played her second Olympic Games, in Beijing, and averaged 3.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.
Petra Kulichova extended her contract with Gambrinus Sika Brno for the 2008-09 season and averaged 10.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game in Czech League and 7.6 points and 5.2 rebounds in 25 minutes per game in the Euroleague.
Once that the season finished, Petra Kulichova played the 2009 European Championship with the Czech National Team and averaged 5.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game.
The 2009-10 season was the last one for Petra in Brno and won again the Czech League after averaging 10.6 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game.  She also had a good year in Euroleague, averaging 10.3 points and 5.4 rebounds with 68% from the field.
Petra Kulichova won the Silver Medal in the 2010 World Championship played in Czech Republic, averaging 5.3 points and 3.8 rebounds per game and being also the best shot blocker in the tournament with 1.8 blocks per game.
In the 2010-11 season, Petra Kulichova signed with USK Prague, becoming Czech League Champion after averaging 5.9 points and 7.7 rebounds per game and playing also the Euroleague, in which she averaged 3.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.
Petra Kulichova played the 2011 European Championship and averaged 7.6 points and 5.7 rebounds in 23 minutes per game, finishing in 4th position despite her 14 points and 6 rebounds in the bronze medal game.
Petra Kulichova re-signed with USK Prague for the 2011-12 season and won again both Czech League and Cup, averaging 7.8 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.  She also played the Euroleague, averaging 3.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 15 minutes per game.
Czech Republic qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London after some great games in which Petra Kulichova averaged 14.3 points 16 rebounds and 4.3 blocks per game.  Once in the Olympics, Petra averaged 4.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
In the 2012-13 season, Petra Kulichova signed in Slovakia with Good Angels Kosice and was Slovakian League and Cup and MEL Champion, averaging 8.8 points and 6 rebounds per game.
In the Euroleague, Kosice had the best result in their history, reaching the Semifinals and with Petra averaging 7.1 points and 6.7 rebounds in 25 minutes per game.
Petra Kulichova played one more European Championship in 2013 and averaged 7.2 points and 6.7 rebounds for Czech Republic in 26 minutes per game.
In the 2013-14 season, Petra Kulichova signed in Turkey with Besiktas and averaged 8.8 points 6.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 27 minutes per game, shining against Tarsus with 20 points 10 rebounds and +26 effiiciency and against Istanbul Universiti with 20 points 11 rebounds and +25 efficiency.
Petra Kulichova played the 2014 World Championship in Turkey and was a key contributor with 11.7 points and 7 rebounds per game, shining against Japan with 19 points and 9 rebounds.
