Nicole Romeo signs with TSV 1880 Wasserburg

Australian Point Guard with Italian passport Nicole Romeo will play the 2014-15 season with TSV 1880 Wasserburg, the team who won the last 2 German Championships and that is currently undefeated in Germany with 3 wins and 0 losses.

Nicole Romeo has played the SEABL during the summer, averaging 16.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game after averaging 5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game in 18 minutes per game in the WNBL with Bulleen.

In Wasserburg, Nicole Romeo will play with power forward Tiina Sten and apart from playing German League, she will also play FIBA Cup in group G, against Peac-Pécs Hungarian, Belgian Young Cats and Nantes Reze.

Nicole Romeo’s career began in 2006, where until 2008 Norwood Basketball Club Racing Central ABL Women, his last year he averaged 16.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists.

In 2008 Nicole Romeo joined the University of Washington in Seattle, playing in the NCAA D1.

The following year, in 2009 Nicole Romeo joined Sandringham Basketball Club of South East Australia Basketball League, averaging 8.8 points and 2.2 assists.

Played the 2009-10 season with the Canberra Capitals WNBL team which won the title of the WNBL

In 2010 Nicole Romeo also played the QBL (Queensland Basketball League) to Rockhampton.

The following season, 2010-11, Nicole Romeo played again with Canberra Capitals WNBL, where he averaged 5.2 points and 2 assists per game, playing 15 minutes.

In 2011 Nicole Romeo returned to play with the QBL Rockhampton , in which he averaged 26.1 points per game, which came to be named MVP.

During the 2011-12 season, played in the WNBL his first season with Townsville Fire, averaging 4.9 points, playing 11 minutes per game.

In 2012 Nicole Romeo played his third season with the QBL Rockhampton.

The following season, 2012-13, Nicole Romeo returned to play in the WNBL Townsville Fire, where he averaged 3.8 points per game, playing an average of 12 minutes.

In 2013 Nicole Romeo played the SEABL (South East Australia Basketball League) in Frankston, where he averaged 21.3 points, 4 rebounds and 3.4 assists; being selected in the All Star 5.

In the 2013-14 WNBL with the Melbourne played Boomers, Nicole Romeo averaged 5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 18 minutes per game.

In 2014 Nicole Romeo repeated participation in Frankston SEABL with an average of 16.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists.
