Nicole Romeo has signed in Spain with Cadí la Seu

Australian point guard with Italian passport Nicole Romeo has signed with Spanish First Division League team Cadí la Seu, after a great season in the Australian SEABL where she averaged 14.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game, with a magnificent 38.2% from the three point line with Nunawanding.

Last season, Nicole was a key player of the German TSV 1880 Wasserburg, who won both League (7.2 points, 1.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.5 steals in just 16 minutes per game), and Cup. Now she joins Cadí La Seu who is currently in seventh position of Spanish First Division after reached the semifinals last season.

In la Seu, Nicole Romeo will share her team with our players Belén Arrojo, Mireia Vila, Georgina Bahí, Tania Pérez and Laura Gil.


Nicole Romeo is an Australian-Italian Point guard born in 1989 with a career in the WNBL (Canberra Capitals, Townsville Basketball and Melbourne Boomers) and also in the SEABL and the QBL, competition where she won a championship and MVP honours.

Last season was her first experience outside of Australia and this will be her debut year in the Spanish First Division.

Nicole Romeo's career began in 2006, where until 2008 Norwood Basketball Club Racing Central ABL Women, her last year she averaged 16.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists.

In 2008 she joined the University of Washington in Seattle, playing in the NCAA D1.

The following year, in 2009 she joined Sandringham Basketball Club of South East Australia Basketball League, averaging 8.8 points and 2.2 assists.

Played the 2009-10 season with the Canberra Capitals WNBL team which won the title of the WNBL

In 2010 she also played the QBL (Queensland Basketball League) to Rockhampton.

The following season, 2010-11, she played again with Canberra Capitals WNBL, where she averaged 5.2 points and 2 assists per game, playing 15 minutes.

In 2011 she returned to play with the QBL Rockhampton , in which she averaged 26.1 points per game, which came to be named MVP.

During the 2011-12 season, played in the WNBL her first season with Townsville Fire, averaging 4.9 points, playing 11 minutes per game.

In 2012 she played her third season with the QBL Rockhampton.

The following season, 2012-13, she returned to play in the WNBL Townsville Fire, where she averaged 3.8 points per game, playing an average of 12 minutes.

In 2013 she played the SEABL (South East Australia Basketball League) in Frankston, where she averaged 21.3 points, 4 rebounds and 3.4 assists; being selected in the All Star 5.

In the 2013-14 WNBL with the Melbourne played Boomers, she averaged 5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 18 minutes per game.

In 2014 she repeated participation in Frankston SEABL with an average of 16.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists.

Nicole Romeo signed with Wasserburg in Germany 1st division during the 2014-15 season, averaging 7.2 points 1.6 rebounds with +5.2 of efficiency in 16.6 minutes per game, getting win both the league and the German Cup.

Nicole Romeo played well against BG 89 Avides with 10 points 4 rebounds and 7 assists with +20 of efficiency, and Donau-Ries with 17 points 3 rebounds and 6 assists with +19 of efficiency and Chemnitz with 16 points and 4 rebounds with +19 of efficiency.

In the 2015 summer, Nicole Romeo signed in Australia with Nunawading and averaged 14.1 points 5.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game with 38.2% from the three point line.
