American forward Monique Coker has signed with CSM Targoviste for the 2016-17 season.
Monique Coker is a very experienced player who has played in most of the best leagues in the world and who returns for this season to the club where she become Romanian League Champion in 2014-15, being one of the key contributors with 14.9 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.
Monique Coker was a college star playing for the Old Dominion University where
she averaged 14.9 points and 9.5 rebounds in her senior year to be named in the
All-CAA First Team.
Monique Coker had also her WNBA debut in 2004 playing for Los Angeles Sparks.
Once that her college career was over, Monique Coker started playing overseas and
averaged 16.8 points and 8.8 rebounds playing in Spanish top division for
Extrugasa in her first year as a pro.
In the 2005 summer she had new WNBA experience, this time with the New

21.2 points, 11.8 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game being the third leading
scorer in the league and the second best in rebounds and steals.

Monique Coker signed in Poland for the 2006-07 season, playing for CCC
Polkowice and being the League MVP after averaging 20.3 points, 9.3 rebounds
and 2.1 steals per game.
In the 2007-08 season, Monique played for Ted Pankup Kolejspor Kayseri in
Turkey, playing the Turkish league where she averaged 16.2 points and 9.5
rebounds per game, being named for the All Star and also playing the EuroCup
where she averaged 20 points and 9.8 rebounds per game.
In March 2008 she moved to Israel to play for Ramat Hasharon where she averaged
14.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
In February 2009, Monique Coker signed with the CSM Targoviste in D1 Romania,
averaging 18.4 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 1 block per game, leading
her team to win both the League and the Cup.
Monique Coker played for Netanya in the 2009-10 season, averaging 19.3 points,
8.9 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game.
In the 2010-11 season, Monique returned to Turkey and played for Ceyhan where
she averaged 13.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
In the 2011-12 season, Monique Coker signed back with Targoviste and averaged
15.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game being named MVP both in the
League and in the Cup.
In the 2013-14 season, Monique Coker signed with Icim Arad and averaged
15.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2 assists, winning the Romanian Cup and being
Monique Coker returned to Targoviste for the 2014-15 season and averaged 14.9 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, becoming against Romanian League Champion.
