Milica Deura has signed in Spain with Campus Promete

Bosnian international combo guard Milica Deura has signed for the remainder of the season 2015-16 with Campus Promete, who is currently competing in the Spanish First Division League.

Milica arrives in Campus Promete after playing five months in the Turkish Edirnespor, where she played the Eurocup averaging 7.9 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.4 steals per game, with an outstanding 57.9% in threes, being the second best long-range shooter in this European competition.

Milica Deura's debut will be on the 28th of February in Logroño against Spar Gran Canaria.

Milica Deura is a 1.78 meters Bosnian-Serbian combo guard, international representative with Bosnian National Team and has experience in Adriatic League, Bosnian, Serbian, Montenegrin, Romanian and Turkish.

In the current Eurobasket Qualifiers Milica is being key contributor to Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she averages 11.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and last Saturday had a strong performance again with 16 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists for her national side against Israel.

In Logroño, Milica Deura will play alongside with Jazz Covington, Ana-Marija Begic and will follow the commands from Andreu Bou as she adds an outside threat for Campus Promete.

Milica Deura began her career in the season 2008-09 in the Mladi Krajisnik Banja Luka from Bosnia, playing in the Adriatic League and debuting in Eurocup, where she averaged 19 points and 4 rebounds per game.

After being chosen as the best player of the Bosnian league in both 2010-11 and 2011-12, Milica Deura joined Partizan Belgrade of Serbia in 2012-13. That season she won both Serbian Cup and League as well as the Adriatic League.

In the 2013-14 season she signed for Buducnost of Montenegro where she enjoyed a successful season, averaging 16.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.7 steals per game in the Adriatic League.

In 2014-2015 season Milica signed for CSU Universitatea Alba Iulia in Romania, where they reached the Semifinals of the League and the Final of the Cup. Milica Deura averaged 8.5 points per game with a spectacular 40.8% in 3 points shots.

In the summer of 2015 Milica joined the Turkish side Edirnespor, with who is currently playing the Eurocup and averaging 7.9 points per game with an outstanding 57.9% in threes, being the second best long-range shooter in this European competition.

Milica has played for her National side since 2011, when she became the most important player in the qualifying round of the European Championship, with 15.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2 steals per game, with 44% in 3 points shots.
