Australian guard Lauren Nicholson
has signed with RegeneracomSports, choosing us as her agency for the coming
Lauren Nicholson is a 1.83m Australian
guard born in 1993 and with NCAA experience with St. Mary's (California),
averaging 17 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game in her senior year
(2015-16). Furthermore, Lauren also has experience with Australian Youth
National Teams where she has played the Oceania Tournament and a World
Lauren Nicholson had her first appearance
with the Australian National Team in the summer of 2009 when she played the U16
Oceania Championship. Lauren won the Gold Medal and averaged 10 points, 5.3
rebounds and 1.7 assists.
In the following year, Lauren played with her
national side the U17 World Championship in France.
Lauren Nicholson's professional basketball
career started in the 2010-11 season when she signed with Sydney Uni Flames,
where she debuted in the Australian First Division League.
In the summer of 2011 Lauren played the New
South Wales State League with Sutherland Sharks and had a great season
averaging 15.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2 assist per game.
Lauren Nicholson's NCAA experience started
in the 2012-13 season with St. Mary's (California) and exploded in her
sophomore year averaging 12.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. In
addition to these good stats, Lauren had a great shooting selection with 51.3%
from the field, 50% in 3 pointers and 78.8% in free throws. The Australian
guard that year shone against Butler with 23 points, (5 of 9 in 3 pointers), 8
rebounds and 2 stelas, against UCSB with 26 points and against Alabama with 28
The 2014-15 was a stand-out year for Lauren as
she registered amazing stats with 17.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per
game. Again, she also had great shooting percentages with 52.3 % from the
field, 33.6% in 3 pointers and 82.1% in free throws. In that season, with her
important contribution, her St. Mary's was awarded as the best team of the West
Coast conference. The Australian guard was the third top scorer of St. Mary's
University in a single year with 580 points and she shone against Cyclones with
27 points, against San Diego with 26 and against Fresno State with 25.
In this current season Lauren continued being
the key contributor for the Gaels and being the starting guard. Furthermore,
she has again had a great year averaging 17 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.1
assists per game. With her contribution, St. Mary's was awarded once more as
the best team in the West Coast Conference and has reached the semifinals of
their conference. This current season Lauren has had extraordinary games
against Villanova with 29 points and against Washington State with 24 points.
