Mireia Vila is a 1.82m Spanish small forward born in 1991 and with
experience in Spanish Youth National Teams (7.1 points in 19 minutes per
game in the Gold in the 2011 U20 European Championship) and also in the
United States where she has played for 4 years for Saint Joseph´s,
becoming Atlantic 10 Champion in the 2012-13 season.
started playing basketball at C.B.Vilassar de Mar from where she moved
to Unió Esportiva Mataró in the 2001-02 season.
Being still U11, she won the Spanish U12 Championship after a great performance.
the 2002-03 season, Mireia Vila suffers an important injury that due to
her age doesn´t let her play again until the 2005-06 season, when she
returns to Mataró Basquet.

Catalan Team that finishes third in the Spanish Championship, averaging 9
points 6.5 rebounds and 9.8 in efficiency in 20 minutes per game.

In the 2007 summer, Mireia plays the Poinçonnet and the Italy Tournament with the U16 Spanish National Team.
the 2007-08 season, Mireia is selected in the Catalan Championship
First Team and in the 2008-09 season she wins the Catalan Championship
and also the Silver Medal in the Spanish Championship after averaging 16
points 5 rebounds and 14.8 in efficiency per game.
After the 2008-09 season, Mireia Vila accepts a full scholarship at Saint Joseph´s
where she plays for 4 seasons winning the Atlantic 10 Tournament in 2013 after a nice season with 23 wins and only 9 defeats.
in 2010, Mireia Vila makes the U20 Spanish National Team coached by
Lucas Mondelo and wins the Silver Medal in the European U20 played in
Latvia, helping the team with 3.3 points and 2 rebounds in 13 minutes
In the 2011 summer, Mireia plays her last tournament
with Spanish National Youth Teams and wins the Gold Medal in the U20
European Championship, having an important role and averaging 7.1 points
and 2.9 rebounds in 19 minutes per game, shining against Latvia with 21
points and 3 three pointers.
Mireia Vila is a smart player with a
high basketball IQ, with a forward body but a point guard mind, good
three point shooter, unselfish and with real nice court vision.
4 years in the States, working a lot to improve her body but without
