The Levanga Hokkaido coach in NBL Japan, the Spanish Piti Hurtado
, has signed with Regeneracom like his agency who will represent him in Asia.
Piti Hurtado has led to Hokkaido this year to tie in third place in the Eastern Conference in NBL with 31 wins and 23 losses, when the previous year the team finished in last position without him.
Piti Hurtado is a spanish coach born in 1974 who began his career in the CB Caceres.
After two seasons as assistant in Cáceres in ACB League , where they reached the semifinals of the Copa del Rey and the 1/16 in the Korac Cup (now Eurocup ), Piti Hurtado was part of the staff of international scouting, in Utah University, in NCAA Div 1 in the 2002-2003 season.
