Laura Arroyo is a 1.82m Country Basque guard born in 1991, with experience at a high level with youth teams and also in senior squads, where she has already played 4 seasons in Spanish top division. Also, Laura has experience in youth Spanish National Teams. In 2011 she was the U20 European Champion and in 2007 she earned the Silver Medal in U16 European Championships.

Laura Arroyo’s basketball career began in Bera-Bera where she played until her last U18 year and she debuted in the first regional division.

In the summer of 2007 Laura played the U16 European Championship in Skopje and she received the Silver Medal. The Basque guard had a great tournament averaging 6.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game and she shone against Turkey scoring 24 points, grabbing 8 rebounds and dishing 3 assists.

In the 2009-10 season Laura signed with Universidad del País Vasco where she debuted in Liga Femenina 2 and averaged 5.7 points and 3.9 rebounds. Furthermore, that year her team had a successful season and ended up being the Spanish Second Division Group B runner-up.

In the following year, Laura re-signed with Universidad del País Vasco and was more influential in her team being the starting guard and averaging 6 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. In addition, her team finished being the regular season champion and Finalist of the Liga Femenina 2.

Due to her solid progression, Laura participated in the U20 European Championship in Serbia 2011 with her national side and she won the Gold Medal.

In the 2012-13 season the Basque guard signed with Hondarribia-Irún where she debuted in the Spanish top division.

Since the season 2013-14 until this current season, Laura has returned with IDK Gipuzkoa Universidad del País Vasco to continue playing in the Spanish top division.
