Kristina Alminaite is a 2.05m Lithuanian International Post Player born in 1990, that has a wide experience with her National Team, in Euroleague, in Eurocup and in the Lithuanian top division, where she has already won four Leagues and three Cups.

Kristina Alminaite’s professional career began in the 2007-07 season, where just being 18 years old debuted in the Lithuanian First Division League with Lintel 118 and averaged 4.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game.

In the summer of 2008, Kristina was selected for the U18 Lithuanian National Team and won the Gold Medal in the European Championships in Nitra (Slovakia).

In the following season, Kristina signed with Laive Kaunas in the Lithuanian top division and where she had a great year, as only being 19 years old averaged 10.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game. The Lithuanian center shone in that year being the second best block shooter of the competition and helping to her Lavie Kaunas to reach the League semifinals.

Due to her great season, Kristina was again selected for the Lithuanian National Team, this time to play the U19 World Championships in Thailand.

In the 2009-10 season, Kristina signed with TEO Vilnius, where she averaged 9.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game and won for her first time the Lithuanian First Division League. In that year, Kristina had a great shooting selection averaging 54.5% from the field.

In the summer of 2010, Kristina played the U20 European Championships with her National side, where her Lithuania ended up in the sixth position.  

The Lithuanian post player signed with VICI Kaunas, during the 2010-11 season and she lived a great year, as she debuted in Euroleague, won for her second time the Lithuanian League, won for her first time the Cup, became the starting center and averaged 6.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game, standing up as the best player of the competition in blocks per game. Furthermore, Kristina had again a great shooting selection with an incredible 58.3% from the field and shone against Ruta Siauliai with 17 points, 5 rebounds and +20 efficiency.

In the following season, Kristina signed with Sirenos Kaunas, where she had a great year in the competition being the third best scorer, the third best rebounds and the best player in blocks per game, with amazing stats 15.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 3.7 blocks per game. Once again, Kristina had a solid shooting selection with 51.6% and shone against Kibirkstis-Tiche with 25 points, 14 rebounds, 3 blocks and +31 efficiency, against Utena with 22 points, 12 rebounds, 4 blocks and +31 efficiency and against Fortuna with 23 points, 19 rebounds, 3 blocks and +30 efficiency.

Due to that great season, in the summer of 2012, Kristina was selected for the Senior Lithuanian National Team, where she debuted in the Qualifying Round for the 2013 European Championships in France and her National achieved its target, winning Holland, Slovenia, Slovakia and Belgium.

In the 2012-13 year, Kristina signed with Kibirkstis-Tiche-Vilnius, where she again lived a great season winning for her third time the Lithuanian League and for her second time the Cup, contributing with 7.2 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game.  Furthermore, in that season, Kristina debuted in Eurocup and shone against Sirenos with 29 points, 7 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 steals and +44 efficiency, against Ruta Siauliai with 19 points, 14 rebounds, 4 blocks and +32 efficiency and against Aistes-LSU with 10 points, 11 rebounds, 3 blocks and +23 efficiency.

In the summer of 2013, Kristina went again with her National side to play the European Championships in France, where Lithuania ended up in the 13th position.

In the 2013-14 season, Kristina re-signed with Kibirkstis-Tiche-Vilnius, however in December she signed with Utena, where she had great stats with 14.9 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 3 blocks per game, becoming in the fifth best scorer, in the best rebounder and in the second best block shooter of the competition.

Kristina re-signed with Utena in the following year, where contributed with 11.4 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.7 blocks per game to win her fourth Lithuanian League and her third Cup. Furthermore, the Lithuanian center had an essential role in Eurocup averaging 12.3 points and 7.8 rebounds and shining against Istambul Universitesi with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 blocks.

In the summer of 2015, Kristina went once more with her National side to play the European Championships in Hungary and Romania, where Lithuania finished in 8th position.

Last season, Kristina re-signed once more with Utena, where she reached the Cup Final and averaged 9.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game, with a great 55% from the field. In this year, she excelled against Aistes-LSU with 27 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks and +36 efficiency, against Siauliai University with 23 points, 10 rebounds and +29 efficiency in 23 minutes played and against H-Sirenos with 12 points, 11 rebounds and +23 efficiency.
