Egle Sulciute is a 1.90m Lithuanian international power forward born in 1985 and who is among the best European players in her position.

In this current season, with the Polish Sleza Wroclaw she has reached the Cup Final and the League semifinal and she has contributed with 8.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and +9.1 efficiency per game in 18 minutes. Furthermore, the Lithuanian power forward has had again a great shooting percentages with 53.1% from the field, 37.8% in three pointers and 81% in free throws.

Egle, who was born in 1985, has great experience in Euroleague, World Championships, European Championships and in some of the best leagues in Europe like the French, Turkish, Italian and the Spanish that she won in the 2012-14 season with Perfumerías Avenida. Salamanca.

Egle Sulciute had her debut in Euroleague with Lietuvos Vilnius when she was just 17 years old and it was in the 2004-05 season where she started to be important, averaging 10.8 points and 3.8 rebounds in 18 minutes per game in Euroleague, shining against Sopron with 23 points and finishing the competition in third position.  Egle also won the Lithuanian and the Baltic League.

During the 2005 summer, Egle Sulciute played the U20B European Championship, averaging 16.5 points 9 rebounds and 3 assists per game, being in the top 5 in the Championship in points, rebounds, assists, double doubles and blocks.

Egle also played the European Championship in Turkey, finishing in 4th position and averaging 10 points and 4.3 rebounds in 23 minutes per game for the Lithuanian Senior National Team, being also the best player in the win against Spain (17 points 8 rebounds).

During the 2005-06 season, Egle Sulciute stayed in Vilnius, averaging 19.7 points and 6.3 rebounds in Baltic League and reaching again the Euroleague Final Four.

In the 2006 summer, Egle Sulciute shone with the Lithuanian National Team, averaging 13.5 points and 7 rebounds per game in the World Championship in Brazil and finishing in 6th position.

Egle continue in TEO Vilnius during the 2006-07 season, averaging 13.3 points and 6 rebounds in Lithuanian league and 4.7 points in 12 minutes in Euroleague, reaching the quarterfinals.

In the 2007 summer, Egle played the Eurobasket in Italy, averaging 8.6 points and 4.9 rebounds in 20 minutes per game, shining with 21 points in the win against France and finishing in 6th position.

The 2007-08 season was her last in TEO Vilnius, averaging 11 points in 23 minutes in Euroleague before moving to Italy to play for Lavezzini Parma where she averaged 8.5 points per game.

During the summer of 2008, Egle Sulciute played in the Qualifiers for 2009 Eurobasket, averaging 8.4 points and 3.5 rebounds in 21 minutes per game.

Egle remained in Italy during the 2008-09 season, winning the Italian Cup with Atletico Faenza and averaging 7.4 points and 4.8 rebounds in 21 minutes per game.

In the 2009 summer, Egle Sulciute had a great European Championship, averaging 14.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in 26 minutes, shining against Turkey with 30 points and 10 rebounds.

Egle Sulciute signed in Spain for the 2009-10 season, having a great season for Celta de Vigo, reaching the 6th position and averaging 14.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.

Egle had 29 points 10 rebounds and +37 efficiency and 22 points 7 rebounds and +27 efficiency in the games against Ibiza, 20 points and 6 rebounds and 19 points 7 rebounds and +24 efficiency in the games against Ros casares, 22 points 8 rebounds and +25 efficiency against Salamanca, 25 points 9 rebounds 5 assists and +30 efficiency against Canoe or 20 points and 8 rebounds against Sóller.

During the 2010 summer, Egle played the Qualifiers for the 2011 Eurobasket, averaging 12.1 points in 23 minutes per game.

Egle stayed in Celta de Vigo during the 2010-11 season, having another good year with 13.6 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.

In the summer of 2011 Egle Sulciute played the Eurobasket in Poland, finishing in 7th position and averaging 8.9 points and 3.9 rebounds in 22 minutes per game, shining against Russia with 20 points and 8 rebounds.

Egle Sulciute signed in France with USO Mondeville for the 2011-12 season and averaged 15.5 points 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists before moving to Turkey to play the Euroleague Final Eight with Galatasaray, averaging 4.5 points in 16 minutes per game.

During the 2012 summer, Egle played the Qualifiers for the 2013 European Championship, averaging 6.9 points and 4 rebounds in 21 minutes per game.

In the 2012-13 season, Egle Sulciute returned to Spain to play for Perfumerías Avenida Salamanca and won the Spanish Super Cup (13 points 9 rebounds +17 efficiency) and the Spanish League, being a key player in the team after averaging 8.8 points 6.4 rebounds and 12 efficiency in 24 minutes per game.

Egle also played a very good Euroleague, averaging 10.4 points and 4.6 rebounds in 24.6 minutes per game, shining against USK Prague with 15 points and 11 rebounds and against Good Angels Kosice with 15 points in the second game of eight finals.

Once that the 2012-13 season finished, Egle Sulciute decided to become a mother and had twins in January 2014.

Egle returned to basketball to play the Qualifiers for the 2015 Eurobasket, averaging 4.8 points in 11 minutes per game.

In the 2014-15 season and already in playing shape, Egle Sulciute signed with Utena, the best team in Lithuania, and is averaging 16.2 points and 6.5 rebounds in 25 minutes per game with 44% from the 3 point line.

Egle has also played FIBA Cup, averaging 11.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, shining with 20 points and 8 rebounds in the close lose (68-70) against Renee Montgomery, Kayla Alexander and Elin Eldebrink´s Chevakata and with 16 points in the win against Istanbul Universiti with Shenise Johnson and Courtney Paris.

Egle Sulciute signed with Utena in Lithuania 1st division during the 2014-15 season, averaging 15.4 points 6.7 rebounds with +16.5 of efficiency in 26.4 minutes per game, getting winning the Lithuanian League and Cup.

Egle Sulciute played well against Kibirkstis-VICI with 27 points 13 rebounds with +35 of efficiency, and Jaunieji Talentai with 25 points 13 rebounds with +33 of efficiency and Suduva with 19 points 11 rebounds with +26 of efficiency.

In this current season, she has also played with her national team in the qualifying round for the European Championship 2017, where Egle has been a key contributor for her Lithuania contributing with 11.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, shining against Slovenia with 16 points and 6 rebounds.
