Egle Siksniute is a 1.98m Lithuanian International Power Forward born in 1991, with a wide experience in European First Divisions, in Eurocup where this current season has averaged 12.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game with Basketball Nymburk and with the Lithuanian National Team.

Egle Siksniute’s basketball career started in the 2006-07 season, where with only 16 years old debuted in the Lithuanian top division playing with Lemminkainen Klaipeda, the team of her natal city.

Due to her great progression and because of her physic features, in the summer of 2007, Egle was selected with the U16 Lithuanian National Team, that played the European Championships in Latvia and where Egle had a strong tournament averaging 11 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. The Lithuanian post player shone with doubles-doubles against Greece with 17 points and 12 rebounds, against Turkey with 12 points and 13 rebounds and against Serbia with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

In the following season, Egle continued in Lemminkainen Klaipeda, where despite being only 17 years old, she got more presence in the senior team and averaged 4.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.

In the summer of 2008, Egle being one year younger was selected in the U18 Lithuanian National Team, that played the European Championships in Czech Republic and where Lithuania won the Gold Medal with Egle having a great tournament with 12.4 points and 5 rebounds per game. In that European Championships, the Lithuanian center stood out against Italy with 24 points and 5 rebounds, against Czech Republic with 16 points and 3 rebounds and against Poland with 14 points and 8 rebounds.

In the 2008-09 season, Egle re-signed with Lemminkainen Klaipeda, became the starting post player of her team averaging 12 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game and help her Klaipeda to reach the League semifinals. Furthermore, in that year Egle had her debut in Eurocup.

In the summer of 2009, Egle went twice with the Lithuanian National Team, in July played the U18 European Championships in Sweden, where she had 12.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game, excelling against Ukraine with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks and against Italy with 17 points. Furthermore, in that tournament Egle was the best shot blocker.

In August, Egle played the U19 World Championships in Thailand, where she averaged 10.4 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. In that tournament, Egle shone against Czech Republic with 21 points, against Argentina with 18 points and 7 rebounds and against Spain with 14 points and 4 blocks.

In the following season, Egle continued in Lemminkainen Klaipeda, where she had a great year in Eurocup averaging 9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, meanwhile, in the Lithuanian First Division, contributed scoring 11.2 points and grabbing 6.5 rebounds per game and led her team until the semifinals of that competition.

In the summer of 2010, Egle was selected with the U20 Lithuanian National Team that played the European Championships in Latvia, where she averaged 10.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game and was the fifth best played in offensive rebounds. In that tournament, Egle stood out against Serbia with 18 points and 7 rebounds, against Belarus with 15 points and 16 rebounds and against Romania with 15 points and 9 rebounds.

Egle re-signed with Lemminkainen Klaipeda in the 2010-11, but that year she could not compete because she got injured.

Once she was totally healed of her injury, in the 2012-12 season, Egle returned to Fortuna Klaipeda to play the Lithuanian top division where she averaged 11 points and 7.8 rebounds per game and also led her team until the semifinals of that competition. In that year, Egle excelled against Kibirkstis-Tiche with 18 points, 11 rebounds and +22 efficiency, against Aistes-LSU with 9 points, 13 rebounds and +22 efficiency and against Jaunieji Talenti with 16 points, 9 rebounds and +18 efficiency.

In the summer of 2013, Egle was selected for her first time with the Senior Lithuanian National Team that played the European Championships in France.

In the following year, the Lithuanian center re-signed with Fortuna Klaipeda where her team played the Cup Final and once more, reached the League Semifinals with Egle contributing with 9.9 points and 7.8 rebounds. In that season, Egle had strong performances against Ruta with 17 points, 11 rebounds and +25 efficiency, against Aistes-LSU with 19 points, 11 rebounds and +24 efficiency and against Jaunieji Talentai with 18 points, 13 rebounds and +21 efficiency.

In the summer of 2014, Egle played the Qualifying Round for the 2015 European Championships with the Senior Lithuanian National Team, where she contributed with 7.7 points and 3.2 rebounds per game and achieved the qualification.

In the 2014-15 season, Egle signed with Utena where she lived a great year after winning both, the Lithuanian League and the Cup, with Egle having 10.7 points and 6.7 points per game. In that year, the Lithuanian post player shone against H-sirenos with 25 points, 8 rebounds and +25 efficiency in 27 minutes, against Aistes-LSU with 21 points, 12 rebounds, 4 steals and +23 efficiency and against Janueji Talentai with 16 points, 15 rebounds and +21 efficiency. Furthermore, Egle played with Utena the Eurocup, where she contributed with 9.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, standing up against Tsmoki-Minsk with 16 points, 8 rebounds and +17 efficiency and against Istanbul Universitesi with 10 points and 8 rebounds.

In the summer of 2015, Egle returned to the Lithuanian National Team to play the European Championships in Hungary and Romania.

Last season, Egle signed with Basketball Nymburk that plays the Czech top division where she reached the League final and won the Cup, averaging 11.7 points and 6 rebounds per game. Furthermore, with Basketball Nymburk Egle played the Eurocup where she had great stats, 12.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, shining against Basket Landes with 25 points, 8 rebounds and +22 efficiency, against PEAC-Pécs with 19 points, 9 rebounds and +20 efficiency and against Fribourg with 8 points, 13 rebounds and +17 efficiency.
