Sydney Wallace is an athletic scoring combo guard that has WNBA talent and European expeience.

She has the ability to really shoot the basketball off the dribble, and off the catch shoot anywhere on the court including mid range, three point, and long three point range.

She also has the ability to create shots either for herself or for teammates. Her quickness and ball handling abilty allows her to get to any spot she wants to on the floor. Her quickess also gives her an advantage to get in a lot of passing lanes either creating steals or deflections.

Wallace has impressive individual skills combined with eye-catching athleticism that makes her a challenge for any defender.

Sydney has the potential to play at the highest level in Europe and to play in the WNBA.

Wallace was dubbed “the quickest player I’ve ever coached” from Head Coach and Hall of Famer MaChelle Joseph.

She played in 106 career games and started in 59.

As a freshman, Wallace led the Jackets to Georgia Tech's first-ever Sweet 16 appearance, setting a Georgia Tech NCAA tournament record by scoring 32 points against #1 ranked Baylor.

Also set NCAA tournament records with most points scored by a freshman with 83 total points in just 3 games.

Also, became first Yellow Jacket to score at least 20 points in first two NCAA Tournament games after finishing with 23 points against Georgetown.

Was named to ACC All-Freshman Team and ACC Newcomer Watch List. Her 167 career made 3-pointers rank sixth in program history.

Wallace participated in the 2016 Final 4 Four Pro Combine in Indiannopolis, Indiana and performed acceptionally well while capturing the attention of the powerful WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx.

Wallace signed a training camp & scored 9 points in her first pre season professional debut game against the New York Liberty on May 5, 2016 and was the final cut of one of the best team in the WNBA.
