Ana-Marija Begic has signed with Campus Promete

Versatile croatian forward Ana-Marija Begic has signed with Campus Promete in Liga Femenina and returns to the Club where she had her first professional experience in Spain after a brief stint in Cadí La Seu.

Ana-Marija Begic plays also with Croatian National Team and she averaged 5.3 points and 4 rebounds in 17 minutes per game with Campus Promete.

Ana´s career has been developed mainly in Medvescak Zagreb where she was already playing Adriatic League and FIBA Cup being just 16 years old.

In the 2009 summer, Ana-Marija Begic played the U16B European Championship, winning the Silver Medal and averaging 9.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game and promoting to Division A.

In the 2010 summer and already in Division A, Ana-Marija Begic won the Silver Medal and averaged 10.8 points and 8.7 rebounds in 27 minutes per game, losing the Final against Russia.

In the 2010-2011 season, Ana-Marija Begic increased her role in  Medvescak, averaging 6.2 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.

During the next two summers, Ana-Marija Begic played with the Croatian U18 National Team, winning the Gold Medal in the 2011 U18B (8.1 points and 4.3 rebounds in 19 minutes) and averaging 9.2 points and 8.3 rebounds in the U18A European Championship in 2012, shining with 20 points and 10 rebounds against Epoupa and Ayayi´s France.

Ana-Marija Begic also played with ZKK Medvescak during the 2012-13 season and started to shine, elevating her numbers up to 10.9 points and 7.4 rebounds in 22 minutes per game in Croatian League.

Ana kept improving during the 2013-14 season and averaged 11.1 points and 6.7 rebounds per game in Croatian League, becoming League Champion, and also 11.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game in Adriatic League.

Ana-Marija Begic was with Croatian Senior National Team during the 2014 Summer.

The 2014-15 season has been the confirmation of the evolution of Ana-Marija Begic and she is currently averaging 16 points 11.1 rebounds and +24.3 efficiency in Croatian League and 11.4 points and 8 rebounds per game in Adriatic League.

Ana-Marija excelled in Croatian League for example against Sibenik (27 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and +38 efficiency) and against Rockwool Pula (18 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks and +38 efficiency).

In Adriatic League she had 27 points, 12 rebounds, 3 blocks and +34 efficiency against Budocnost and 20 points and 11 rebounds against Play Off.

In this current season, Ana-Marija has signed with Campus Promete, team who plays the Spanish first division league and where she has averaged 5.3 points and 4 rebounds per game in 17 minutes played, being this one her first experience far away from Croatia.

The Croation Power Forward this 2015-16 season, has had a great game against Azkoitia with 14 points in 15 minutes.

During this current season, Ana-Marija has also played with her National Team the Qualifying Round for the 2017 European Championships.
